A loner by nature and an introvert…
i am a twinkling star,
burning bright amidst a cloudless night.
As such, i tend to fade in and out of people’s lives.
This aspect of me is often misunderstood as rejection or
a lack of love and caring.
In reality, the only way i can survive as an introvert,
is to drop from the sky,
from time-to-time, recharging
within the energizing landscape of my inner-universe.
To love me, is to let me have the space i need
to illuminate the sky.
I can’t be taken hostage or held captive.
Inner-light is what gives my star its twinkle.

In these dark and uncertain times,

there can be great value in imagining

a bit of star in each human soul.

Not just that it gives some hope for humanity

at a time when man’s inhumanity to man seems ever on the increase; but also because it points to an inner brightness that can light the way in dark times.

The aspirant would do well to avoid those ‘spiritual teachers’ who delight in pointing out the evils of the world. These are immature egos attempting to discard their own negativities by projecting them onto others.

The true yogi is one who is like a lion with himself, always striving to eradicate that which shadows his inner light, and like a lamb with others, always striving to see their inner light, no matter how dense may be the clouds that hide it. He is the king of the jungle of his world. He hides from no one and seeks escape from nothing.
